Markham Moor Inn
The Inn has stood quietly on the side of the Old Great North Road for over 350 years.
The Grade II listed building was renovated and re-opened in 1999 by husband and wife, Stephen and Laura Heath. While Stephen focused his attention on the cooking, Laura has spent much of her time putting together a vision of what a contemporary fine dining restaurant should look like.more of our story
Food is at its best when it is delicious, comforting, refined and beautifully plated.
We respect and use traditional haute cooking methods. Even so, our Chefs love to experiment with new techniques, ingredients and flavour pairings. Each menu is skilfully crafted around local seasonal ingredients, offering an array of choice from pub favourites to casual fine dining.more of our food
The Inn has a fine reputation and continues to improve, innovate and delight year upon year.
